Kota Uing Pisan was developed for an FDGI Bandung exhibition exploring the character and visual identity of Bandung.
The title uses a colloquial Sundanese expression to convey a personal sense of affection and belonging toward the city. The project began by collecting everyday associations, places, objects, and visual fragments connected to Bandung. These references were then reconstructed into letterforms, turning the name of the city into a dense illustrated landscape.
The project explored how local observations and personal memories could be translated into a visual identity without relying on a single landmark or conventional city symbol.
